Winter Outing
January 22-25, 1988

    Our winter outing was held at Parker Scout Reservation, near Merrifield, Minnesota. We may have slept in the lodge but we spent plenty of time outside.

Blue & Gold Dinner
February 21, 1988

    Cub Scout Pack 68 held their Blue and Gold Banquet at the Melrose American Legion. It was well attended. Even the mayor came to celebrate with the Cubs.

Jeff Hegle's Eagle Court of Honor
April 10, 1988

Jeff's Eagle court of honor was held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. There were a lot of people in attendance.
This was the first Eagle Scout Rank presented to a Boy Scout of Melrose since the 1960's.

Webelos Graduation
April 25, 1988

    The Webelos Graduation was held at the Melrose Junior High School Cafeteria. Three Webelos Scouts graduated to Troop 68.

May 27-29, 1988

    Primitive camping was the theme for this year's outing at Camp Watchamagumee. The guys made their own shelters and cooked over open fires.

The Wagon Train came to town! The Melrose Chamber of Commerce asked the Boy Scouts to help out serving food.
