 Melrose Boy Scout Troop 68
Eagle Scout Hall Of Fame

The Eagle Scout is the highest rank attainable by a Boy Scout in America. The road which leads toward this rank is long and hard. There may be road blocks and obstacles that try to halt the completion of the rank. Time may run short. But the those who possess strong will and desire will complete the journey and prove they are worthy of the Eagle Rank.
Melrose Troop 68 has several Scouts who have earned this distinction. This page is dedicated to one of them, his accomplishments, and to all Eagle Scouts from across the country.

Eagle Scout Ben Kociemba

Ben Kociemba became a Boy Scout when he graduated into the troop from his Webelos Den in February, 1994. He regularly attended weekend camps and summer camps. In 1998 he attended Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. He attended the National Jamboree in 1997. He is a member of the Order of the Arrow.
Ben earned his Eagle Rank on October 17, 1996, when he was only 14 years old. His Eagle Court of Honor was held on March 9, 1997, at the Melrose City Center meeting rooms. Ben was the troop's sixth Eagle Scout.

In 1994, Ben tries his skills at snowboarding down Bunker Hill at Camp Watchamagumee.

Ben and his fellow Scouts had a lot of fun exporing the Eagle caves in Wisconsin.
