Ten Scouts from Troop 68 explored the Eagle Caves and had a great time doing so. They slept in the caves during the evening and did plenty of exploring during the day, c;imbing into areas that made the adults nervous. The Saturday night program provided by the Eagle Caves staff was a great way to close out the weekend. (Oh, and the food was good too!)

Several of the gang checked out the "Chimney" and found it to be a tight fit.

   Ben Kociemba recieved the rank of Eagle Scout during a very impressive ceremony held at the Melrose City Office meeting rooms. For more information check out the Eagle Scout Hall of Fame.

Ben's family jions him on stage during the ceremony. As you can see, the whole family is involved in scouting.

The Scouts who celebrated one year of being a member of the troop received their one year pins.

Quite a number of merit badges were presented. These Scouts are members of the Cougar Patrol.

This court of honor began what was to become an excellent year for advancement for Troop 68.

   The troop once again traveled to Many Point Scout Camp for a week of advancement and great fun. Nineteen members of the troop participated in the week long camping experience.
