first of all, i used my identfy spell on it to see what they where. they could have been boot of no movement or something that dont come off me and i would be stuck with a horrible thing. it just happend that i used the spell so the group let me have them. also, it helps a magic user the most because he can cast spells from above and and fight with a staff. a fighter cant fight from above because their weapon isnt long enough. the place that we went to had a treasure room. tiptin knew we would get some stuff their so we went there. just my two cents
